What is Laminate Flooring?
Laminate Flooring is made up of a high-density base, with a photograph of wood on top, coated with an acrylic lacquer. There is no real wood in a laminate board.
What is Solid Wood Flooring?
Solid wood is exactly as it sounds, one piece of wood from top to bottom.
What is the difference between laminate flooring and wood flooring?
Laminate flooring consists of synthetic backing with a high-pressure laminate surface with a photograph of wood. Laminate is not renewable and therefore has a short usable life span.
Wood flooring consists of wood backing with wood wear surface or solid wood. Wood flooring, with proper care, will last generations. Wood floors can be refinished, re-sanded, and re-coated to look like new again.
Can I choose samples from the Internet and get them sent to me?
We do not expect our customers to purchase a new floor on the strength of a picture, we would rather you see a sample first. However, as wood is a natural product the sample is a representation only.
How soon can you get my order to me?
We aim to have your delivery within 3 working days buy our nationwide delivery service. However some products may be delivered directly from the manufacturer so we normally advise a 3-5 day delivery time. We will always try our best to give you the time and date of your delivery.
How many flooring packs will I need?
Below every product we have a pack estimator. You need to measure your room's length and depth; enter the totals in to the provided place and click, this will give you a estimated pack required for your room.
